But what was striking was the fact that, less than two months before the end of the constitutional period for the election of the president, Nassrallah did not nominate General Aoun as the opposition candidate!

after the syrian and the israeli withdrawal from lebanon , we should face the real disease and the underlying mechanism of our failure
why majority of muslims stood with the syrian and againts the israelis and why christians did the opposite ?
why lebanese killed each other based on religion differences ?
why must muslims cared shit about lebanese prisoners in syria and why christians did appreciate the blood of hezbollah delivered to liberate part of lebanon ?
I guess part of the answear is kind of education and nurture we get from our parents , our moms did not tell us story of "laila wel zeeb " instead story about they came to ur peaceful village and sloughter us ...so grew up on hatered nad sectarian sense and ultimately having no mean of national concept .

I live in the US and i read out a lot about racism here , just 40 years ago ROSA PARK steeped in a bus and sat on a place devoted for white passenger only ....
