Nice way to describe the Hariri mafia and the Siniora government. Keep up the good job Bob!

No Sam,it describes what HA is doing to the country right now, today and perfect description to nasrallah/syrian/iranian alliance .Go home and wait for the election, you don't serve in the government and then decide you don't like it...so, you keep up the good job and there will be no country and no government.

Oh that's true I forgot that Hariri is a saudi who never lived in Lebanon...

Sam

Of course...
it is the 14th of March who are putting a 1000 families out of there jobs and killing down town at the moment...
Mais bien sur...
And from now on i will simply ignore your unfounded accusation. What do you know of Saad HAriri? and how do you know where he lived and what does that have to do with anything?

Following your logic, nassrallah spent a long time in Iraq then Iran! Does that make him any less Lebanese?

Thx faisal for pointing out the obvious, but some people cannt even see the sun when it is staring them in the face.

My friend faisal pointed out your blog,it is great..
Sam,Mr senioura is our prime minister, the head of our government elect not the head of a militia.

Look whos talking about mafia,if anybody is acting like one it is HA.what a short memory you have mr.sam, you forgot all your actions in the streets of beirut a couple of years back. You terrorized people, you pointed your guns at other lebanese just because you can. so please don't get all moral on us now, your hands are tainted like your partner Aoun who almost leveled Beirut on the head of defensless lebanese..Please get down from your high horses.
They don't care about people getting laid off,the demonstrators are getting paid to stay, their homes are being fixed and we can all follow the money trail,we know where it will lead..
Thanks faisal for telling about this blog.
BOB, wish you peace my friend.

First I'm not part of HA (or any party), this said I totally support them but don't talk tome like I was from HA.
Second, Hariri's biography is clear he had never spent more than 2 months in Lebanon when he was elected, this is not comparable with Hassan Nasrallah spending a few years outside the country but again I'm not from HA I'm just an independent who wants to see a legitimate government elected with a fair law everyone agrees on not one decided by syria and enforced by the US with feltman coercing Sfeir into accepting the fait accompli.
Third you can go to downtown no one is keeping you from doing so (you are going to have to spend a lot to make up for the 44 billion deficit created by the same people who are in power today)

I just saw your post about separating religion from politics and let me tell you I TOTALLY agree.
I also totally agree that we refuse any foreign intervention of any sort.
That means:
- No Syrian or Iranian interference
- No FBI doing investigations in Lebanon
- Any tribunal should be Lebanese not international (in this I differ even with Aoun and HA). Either we have a judiciary or we don't.
- Feltman should stop interfering in our affairs as well as former colonial powers (France and Britain)

My mistake, I did not mean to brand you, but you have been doing the same to me…

Like you I do not belong to any party but I support the 14th of march coalition because they are the lesser of two evils and because I believe in their broad principals (free, independent, peaceful and prosperous Lebanon)

About Saad I did not clearly understand what you meant. But the man lived until 18 or 19 in Lebanon and left the country in 82, when Israel invaded Lebanon. Nassralah also spent what amount to almost 10 years, mostly in Iran… Saad have spent more time in Lebanon than outside since he was elected.

But this doesn’t matter, as most other leaders have at one time or another spent time outside Lebanon (Aoun for example) and I think that this is irrelevant to the discussion…

The debt issue I already spoke about it and I all for opening the books for everything (and we must included everyone from th 14th of march to Hezbollah, including Aoun)

About Downtown I will only refer you to my next post, about Taboo

Finally It is good that we can agree on some points, and I firmly believe that no matter how politically opposed we can be, there is always a room for agreement…

You are the most welcome on my blog and my thanks for Faisal and his sister; I consider them part of my most loyal readers. And I hope that you will meet us for that famous drink, we will have when they come to Lebanon.

And i agree with your comment, we are not the ones who own a militia!

Hey Bob! I hope you are doing well !
We need a push from the LBF!!
On Monday december 25th, 2006, tunisian bloggers rally to protest against the censorship of some tunisian blogs including Samsoum-Usa, SamiIII , Felsfa and others.

Bloggers who want to show their support can join the Blank Post Action. This action consists in publishing a blank note on their blogs, and nothing else (no posts, no comments) during 24 hours

If you cannot publish a blank note in your blog, you can use suspension points in the title section and also in the note itself.

Those who don't want to join the action by publishing a blank note can support it by stopping any blogging activity during that day.

You can announce your participation to the action in your blogs before the chosen date by using the logo we designed for it (english version or french version) and linking it to the present post. You can add it in your template or in a special post using the code that you can find in this document :

Your help is needed to make others know about this action, so try to talk about it to any tunisian or foreign blogger or any person that can be interested.
